Boise
After another 12 hours on the road we made it to Boise, Idaho. Today's views were much more interesting than the never ending cows and cornfields yesterday. We went through parts of the Rockies, crossed the Snake River 3 or 4 times and saw lots of pronghorns. 6 hours tomorrow and we will be ready to unload!!

Half way
We are staying in Cheyenne, WY for our first night. It is almost exactly halfway to Portland. It was an extremely boring 19-20 hour drive so far. We left at 4am and arrived at midnight (EST). We are exhausted. The rest of the trip will be easier. Tomorrow we have to travel 10 hours to Boise, ID. The dogs are very happy to be out of the car as well!

Updates!
Tammy has a job interview set for Wednesday, August 5th with a preschool!
I accepted a position with Portland Public Schools (Ockley Green School, Social-Emotional Impairment grades 6-8; http://www.ockleygreen.pps.k12.or.us/).
Our movings plan have also been finalized. Brock and Jeremy are both going so that we have two drivers in each vehicle (moving truck and the Mazda). We are staying at Motel 6's because they are pet friendly and cheap! Wednesday will be the longest driving day. We need to get to Cheyenne, WY 16+ hours in a moving truck. After that it is Boise, ID and Portland on Friday morning!

Living out of boxes
We are officially moving to Portland! Our departure date is 7.29.2009
So far we have about half of our stuff in boxes and there is much more work to do. We are fortunate enough to have Brock driving the moving truck with us, and he is helping load/unload. I can hardly wait... 1 bench seat, 2 dogs, 3 adults, and 2200 miles. We are likely towing the car to save a little money.
We found an apartment in a great location to live in while we search for a bigger place. Tammy and I both have phone interviews with prospective employers this week (I am way more excited about mine than she is about hers ^^). I will start classes at Lewis & Clark College the first week of September (School Psychology).
